Hi,

I tried to open an DICOM Disk captured 2018 with Miele-lxiv 9.39.140 and first time ever, I can't open the images.
It's able to read all metadata but the images itself are completely white. When I try to open a single image, Miele freezes and the CPU load rises to 100%.

Anything I can do?

Are you saying that it used to work, and suddenly it doesn't ?
Can you see the images in the Preview ?
Where are those files located, on a CD ? Linked or Copied ?
What is your macOS version and CPU architecture ?
Can you send me (privately) one of those image files for me to investigate further ?

  1. No, this never worked with miele-lxiv
  2. No, as you can see in the screenshot the preview show only a questionmark, other softwares like Weasis can open the images without any problems
  3. They we're copied to the system
  4. MacOS Sonoma (latest version), Apple Silicon M2
  5. Will send you the images after I removed the personal data

  1. I haven't received any images yet.

Are you still experiencing the problem?

I bought Miele-LXIV (9.40.142) today in the Appstore. (M2 Chip, MacOS Somona 14.5)
I can import new DICOM files with Miele, and it looks fine. However, when I close the app and restart it later, then I can't see the images any more, just white space.
Hint: I imported the data by copying the links, not copying the data files.
Can anyone help?

The problem might be related to the fact the the AppStore version is sandboxed. I will investigate the issue, but for the moment I suggest you copy the files when importing them.
