organize songs under artist/albums/?

I'd like organize songs under albums, but how?

Expected output:
Artist/Album/track title

Actual output:
Artist/track title

I wonder what am I doing wrong? I tried two different settings, I got the same result with both. As steps, after updating config.yaml I ran beet update or even tried re-importing the full directory beet import -A ~/music/
I'm also attaching two screen shots with the output.

Can you try default: /$albumartist/$album/$track $title?

Also, beet update does not move the files. You should use beet move after changing the paths.

Indeed...-A may be causing the problem. You are using the no-autotag option, so it is using the existing tags (which may be wrong).

Run import without the -A flag and tag the files correctly.

@DjSlash here is the output beet -vv move |& tee ~/beetmove.log, it was too long for pastebin so I added the paste here

% wc -l  beetmove.log                                                                                                                              
   46570 beetmove.log

If I import without "-A" then it is asking many many...many times the following (only the count of the track number is different):

No matching release found for 1436 tracks.

There's your problem. You have not imported your files correctly. You cannot put all the files in one folder and try to import them before you move. Again, don't use the -A option when importing.

Try using --group-albums, that will group files into albums based on existing metadata.

The full command I ran was beet import --group-albums -A "/Volumes/szparki/mp3/iPod Music"
