What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

I don't understand... is this the same extensions that used to be called chrome update notifier plus? if so, I had it before so I don't know why it says it's now unavailable for my computer and has been disabled..?? how else can my extensions get updated without this, I need this extension please fix this!

This is because I see something interesting in manifest.json file:

...
"minimum_chrome_version": "28",
...

I hate this too because I use Chrome 25

oh well I don't know for sure what version mine is because I don't use Google Chrome, I use Comodo Dragon which is a chrome based browser.
but it's ok because I finally found the chrome update notifier plus extension and have installed it (quite a while ago after I had posted this, forgot I even did this here). so I'm all good. it hasn't seemed to update anything though which I guess is good because it used to do it all the time practically.
