We will be conducting a Geospatial Machine Learning with Cloud Services workshop on May 15 that will heavily focus on using Raster Vision for geospatial ML.

Description:

The workshop will provide hands-on experience with: PyTorch, Raster Vision, STAC, and AWS cloud services such as S3, EC2, and SageMaker.

Participants will gain experience running predictions with off-the-shelf models on geospatial imagery using an end-to-end case study of building an ML model to detect sandstorms in satellite imagery. The session will also include a future-facing discussion of geospatial foundation models and how to use them.

This workshop is geared towards organizations and individuals working in the geospatial domain and looking to use machine learning to extract insights from satellite imagery. Whether you're a data scientist, geospatial analyst, remote sensing specialist, or a researcher interested in leveraging machine learning for geospatial applications, this workshop will equip you with practical skills and insights to tackle complex challenges in the field. Attendees of all experience levels are welcome.
