Feature Summary

Project Issue

I had some time to think about the execution of the project, as a side observer. As a Frontend developer without permissions to the Figma file, I developed an interesting way to interact with the server.

Approach

  1. Lean and Temporary Server:
    • Initiated a lean and temporary server with the app, excluding the portal.
    • Deployed a UI that centers the whole pack into one view.

Main Changes

  1. Past Experiments Exposure:

    • Past experiments are exposed from the beginning, allowing users to explore them.
  2. Export Features:

    • Export button to get all of the past and current experiments.
    • Export button to download the graph/chart of a specific test.
  3. New Test Initiation:

    • "New" button always on top for easy test initiation.
  4. Running Test Tracing:

    • Tracing for running tests, providing visual and textual visualization on the fly.
  5. JSON View:

    • Interactable rows of data in JSON view for deeper exploration.
  6. Unified Graph:

    • Unified graph for a simpler view.
  7. Data Normalization:

    • Normalization of the data as Log function for an enhanced view of two vectors.
  8. Dedicated Domain:

Purpose of the Feature

I know it is not one of the predicted steps that have been declared in the project, but it is worth sharing with you so we can pivot or jump-start ideas worth exploring.
