I have relatively long labels for the variables. I would like to have them in an angle of 0 degrees, meaning horizontally. When I do this, the labels in the right side are cut by the end of the graph.

Add the option offset(num), eg. offset(10) for semi-long labels. The right side will adjust accordingly and your long label will fit the figure.
