Hi, thanks for the great plugin!

I am not sure the "Navigation" feature works. Here's my setup.

  1. Simple Some.html on the Desktop:
<html>
	<a href="a.docx">HERE</a>
</html>
  1. Also on the Desktop, a.docx.

  2. Plugin setup:

  1. Now, with the right-click on link, this stuff works, Word opens what it should.

  2. But if I just click on the link HERE, it offers to download a.docx.

How is "Navigation" supposed to work? It would be superb if we could have these links open Word with docx just by clicking on them, I thought this is what "Navigation" feature is for.

My setup is simply latest Chrome and Windows 10.

Do you have the "Allow access to file URLs" enabled for this extension on the extensions manager?

Unrelated to OP's case regarding local file, my case is about YouTube website

As shown in the image, I have configured the Navigation pattern to *.youtube.com/watch*

Right-clicking on a link works fine, but left-clicking does not trigger any action

My browser is Edge 129.0.2792.52, running on LUbuntu 24.04
