'"Lottie.framework" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.' error when running macOS app

If you download Lottie.xcframework.zip from the latest release and include it in a macOS project, you may see the following error when running your app:

"Lottie.framework" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

This may be because the framework is still quarantined after being downloaded from the internet. You can confirm this by running ls -l@ Lottie.xcframework:

$ ls -l@ Lottie.xcframework

You can remove the file from quarantine by running:

$ xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine Lottie.xcframework

Alternatively, you could download the file using curl using a command like:

$ curl -L https://github.com/airbnb/lottie-ios/releases/download/latest/Lottie.xcframework.zip -o Lottie.xcframework.zip

Tools like curl do not place downloads into quarantine.
