Hello, thanks for keeping cscope alive.

I know it is possible to run (and thus build) cscope on Windows. I was wondering if and how csope could also be built on this platform.

The short answer won't be too helpful I'm afraid: I don't know.
I do not own a Windows system and their requirements for a virtual environment seem hostile towards my setup, to put lightly. Meaning, I have no reasonable way to test or develop Windows compatibility.

What I do know, is that I have most certainly removed compatibility code for MS DOS, and compatibility code that used to be required for Windows, 15 or more years ago.
I also know, that the legacy code has a few nasty instances of forking POSIX programs (this should be fixed with time), the point being, that its unclear how well CScope runs on Windows to begin with.

However, to the best of my knowledge, Csope should be easy to run under WSL.
