I have done surveys in the past via Google Docs: but you're right that these could be presented publicly and in a better format. |
I looked at the feedback in those Google Docs and now that we've done 2 sessions, I agree with a couple of your previous students with regards to getting more constructive feedback about our code. It would be great to get some constructive feedback on the assignments we submitted. Like perhaps ways we can improve the code, some performance issues to be aware of, some JS quirks to be aware of, maybe a more elegant solution can be suggested, etc. |
I'm thinking about incorporating Pull Request as part of the flow and people paired up for peer evaluation (in addition to my own), though I don't want to spend too much of the class teaching Git. Would that help? |
I wonder if enough of us are familiar with git to help with this via github

Add student evaluation and feedback similar to Prof. Sam Sultan (but, ya know, with more modern-day code :) ):
