When acoustid-fingerprinter is started, it starts at $HOME (in folder selection tree).

  • It would be better if it could save a default-path in config for where to start falling back to $HOME.
  • Same could also be overridden if started from command line shell argv[1]. So starting it as acoustid-fingerprinter would automatically select that path in selection tree falling back to default path if there is any problem (folder does not exist, etc.)

That would be really nice for my workflow, too.

How did you get it to start at $HOME anyways, yoursvivek. For me it starts at / (root).
