We are thrilled to announce that Corese is now available on Flathub.

What is Flathub?

Flathub is a centralized platform for distributing Linux applications where users can easily find, install, and update software. It operates using the Flatpak utility, often pre-installed on most modern Linux distributions. The software found on Flathub is packaged in a standardized format, making the installation process smooth and cohesive across various Linux distributions.

How to setup Flathub on your system?

In many modern Linux distributions, Flathub is already available by default, eliminating the need for additional setup. However, if it is not pre-installed, setting it up is a simple process. Detailed instructions can be found on the Flathub website setup page.

How to Install Corese-GUI and Corese-Command through Flathub?

Once you have Flathub set up on your system, installing Corese-GUI and Corese-Command becomes a straightforward process. You can opt to use the graphical user interface available in most Linux distributions or go through the command line.

Through Graphical User Interface:

1. Open the software center on your system or visit the Flathub website.
2. Search for Corese-GUI or Corese-Command.

Corese-Command is a CLI (Command-Line Interface) tool, which might not be available in the software center. In such a case, you can install it using the command line instructions provided below.

3. Click on the install button.

Through Command Line:

1. Open the terminal on your system.
2. Run the following commands to install Corese-GUI and Corese-Command, respectively:

flatpak install flathub fr.inria.corese.CoreseGui
flatpak install flathub fr.inria.corese.CoreseCommand
