Not sure if this is the best place to put it, but it would be awesome if we could have a template for reaching out to issuers directly for information on how many shares are directly registered with the company and what transfer agent is used. We could ask for data from the last four years to start.

We have something similar to this, though not quite this, on the Contact IR WhyDRS page: https://www.whydrs.org/contact-investor-relations

What should happen is that it would query the database for the email and then fill in info along with a basic template (which could be toggled to ask for more disclosure on DRS information. I think we also had some basic write ups for company information as well.

Unfortunately, it seems to no longer be working!! Maybe something that was changed recently caused this issue? I will have some time tomorrow to look in the custom code to see what could be a stale reference (PutPsy wrote most or all of this, but he hasn't been active in over a year).

Ah, yeah that tool was built around the google sheet and I think adding a column may have broken it. Not sure how it was built, but it would be great to have something like that recreated for Github. If he's active again, I'd love to get the source code. I think it may be related to this sheet, though I'm not entirely certain.

I will grab everything from the site side tomorrow and we can bring it here. I imagine the best place would be within the WhyDRS repo, with same titling that we use for that particular webpage. Similar custom code exists for the SEC comment tool so I can do the same for that.
