I don't quite get the question, but I would guess. So, the private key is built-in in the security chip of the Arduino board as it is mentioned in the authentication-x509-certificates-2.ino file: It uses a private key stored in the built-in crypto chip and a CA signed.

Does this answer your question? If so, do you have any other?
