Me too facing the same issue.
At first on clicking cancel, the input is cleared and this shows up:

JS Cancel is going to be executed

Then, on clicking the empty input, this:

WebKit discarded an uncaught exception in the webView:decidePolicyForNavigationAction:request:frame:decisionListener: delegate: Invalid parameter not satisfying: date

Doesn't look like many PRs are being merged right now but if you need the fix urgently you can apply this patch to your local copy of src/ios/DatePicker.m: https://github.com/VitaliiBlagodir/cordova-plugin-datepicker/pull/214/files
