Opening this issue for discussion how to handle old python-gallery links that can still be found in pages and searches across the deep dark internet. Currently the python-gallery main page successfully redirects here to python-training, but any directly linked pages (examples gallery, which is still a top hit on search engines) can still be reached with no disclaimer about them being outdated and no longer maintained or pointing to successfully pointing to python-training.

Discussed potential solutions include taking down the whole python-gallery site or designing site-wide banners to pointing people in the right direction.
