I view this as a literature review for senior undergrad or first year grad students who want to quickly catch up to what's new about deep learning. However, the objectives of these methods, mostly surrounding predictions and accuracies, are still very different from social sciences. Are there similar survey specifically on deep learning used in social science? Or is it a still a very small field that leads to exciting innovation?
