Splinter Cell Blacklist - Add Splinter Cell Conviction controller layout

I saw that Conviction had the option for the Blacklist layout, but not the other way around. Personally, I always thought Conviction had the better of the two just because of the cover mechanics. Blacklist always has me moving out of cover by accident. Would be kinda cool to see something like this.
I was also wondering if this mod resolves the crashing issues Blacklist has on certain architectures?

I also see the levels can be unlocked, but it's still missing a few after the unlock. For example, I don't see the cruise ship. And if there's any way to allow the co-op levels to be played in single player that would also be sick.

Too much effort required, I wouldn't attempt anything of the sort. And I'm fine with blacklist controls.

What crashes? I've played the game a lot and didn't have any with the mod. There are a few fixes included, but I asked on steam forums to confirm asi fixed that crash due to offline servers, nobody did that afaik.

You need to rescue Kobin in story mode to unlock all.

1: already tried conviction control scheme, its a mess since blacklist operates differently with covers etc. Like you can easily mess up your stealth if your cover sticking will be on hold instead press, he just can go around a corner even if you not intended to. Also it is not clearly possible to implement wheel scroll for gadgets, or holstering a weapon (things just dont exist ingame files). The only one thing what I was able to add is dropping from standing pos to a ledge with 'space' instead of cover button.
2: Crashing - no idea. Playing game since launch, modding it for over 6 years - no crashing.
3: Not clearly possible to do a mod for coop missions on solo, it is a hard work need to be done, since all game files are encrypted and hard to extract, and theres no hope that youll find anything in dosens of umd files of game. You can load in coop maps, yes, but still no answer for coop gates done solo.
Funny thing - some dude on older forums somehow managed to launch splitscreen on pc but his video was deleted from YT and as he claimed theres no controls for second player, assuming that ubisoft didnt bother to make a hook. Without his knoledge it is not possible to replicate such mod, tried it but I cant even find what causing to change menus or other stuff related to split.

Ah I got ya. Totally understand then. I imagine a lot of this stuff is probably a gigantic pain in the ass so thank you guys very much for all of your efforts.

As for the crashing - I'm not 100% sure if the problem is with running the the game on Linux or with running it on AMD architecture. It runs fine on my PC (Windows 10, Nvidia GPU) with no crashes, but if I try to play it on my Steam Deck I get crashes about once per hour on average. I also have started noticing Conviction doing the same thing recently as I had to switch from the Ubisoft Connect or Steam versions of the game to an "alternative" copy to get it running on my Steam Deck as well (again, runs flawlessly on my PC using the Ubisoft version of the game, and I imagine my Steam version of the game would probably also work with it). Been trying to experiment with different setups for the game including running it in Vista compatibility mode using ProtonTricks but so far haven't had much luck in resolving the crashing. If I get a chance I may try setting up a Linux environment on my PC to test if the crashing persists (if so I'd assume the issue is with Linux). Unfortunately I don't have any AMD hardware in any PCs so I can't test if AMD is the problem directly.

If you on steamdeck, can it be a Vulkan api that causes crash? I doubt tho, I tried vulkan on pc versions of conviction blacklist and they work pretty fine. Also I have AMD CPU no problem on pc.

Haven't been able to get Blacklist to crash again since mentioning it. I know it goes through phases where it crashes and then is stable again so we'll see if it starts acting up again, but for now it's all good.
Conviction on the other hand crashes pretty much every time I try playing it. I was able to get a log file for that one if you have an interest in taking a look:
