There are a few more ideas to implement, like holding dpad up to change between vision modes, and I was thinking to just attach them as a separate download alongside the main mod. Because it would be a bit complicated to make all of them optional. |

Similar to the tweaks made in
update/difficultyconfiguration.ini
to modify the behavior for Rookie and Perfectionist difficulties, you could add another config option to disable Active Sprint.Active Sprint is when the game automatically makes your character start climbing obstacles while sprinting. This can be annoying when you only intend to sprint, yet your character starts climbing without your input. Disabling Active Sprint will allow you to sprint freely without automatic climbing and will require you to manually press the Climb key instead.
To disable Active Sprint, include
actionscheme.ini
inupdate/actionscheme.ini
actionscheme.zip
Active Sprint - Enabled (Default values)
Active Sprint - Disabled
EchelonPlayer.AutoNavState
- Active Sprint values when playing in third person (Sam in single player / Sam or Briggs in coop / Spy in Spies vs Mercs)EchelonPlayer.MPMercAutoNavState
- Active Sprint values when playing in first person (Briggs in single player / Merc in Spies vs Mercs)Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
