The patch in question is this from Yatopia (stable and safe patch).
Very useful patch for big survival and non-survival servers, useful for reduce Tile Entities ticking used for building. Thanks!

maybe yes. But I never had issues
The problem is that Bukkit make a lot of assumption, lithium patches are stable on their own, but with Bukkit added to the mix it's a different story.
