Can't find department name or type fields to filter on

I'm creating Views to display CAP data on my site and need the ability to be able to filter by department and type (staff/faculty/postgrad...).

This should be able to be done. We will create some sample views to provide guidance.

Is there any ETA as to when we might see an example of a View sorted by department name or type?

This problem is an issue with the views interface and requires a relationship to the appropriate field collection. Test to see if a working view can be created and close if successful. Will mark as a documentation and training issue.
