Previous conversations

I Don't know if it's not enough documentation on the hugchat. From the previous versions in a chat it would remember the previous prompts which was interactive. But from latest versions in the same conversation it's like starting a new conversation each time. How can I solve this.
Another thing is switching between the models from meta llama2 70b, code llama, others.
Could anyone provide example code.
