It might be useful if the device can verify that inputs being spent actually exist(ed in the past). But it may not be very practical.

The PSBT standard would need to be expanded to adding SPV proofs (can use proprietary field)
Specter has to support it (bigger QR code is a problem?)
App has to obtain and verify the headers, probably easiest to download via the p2p network, but this requires new code (rust bitcoin?)
