Describe the bug / error

Hi All,

We are facing this since beginning of this year which was not case even in December.

When we open news / links from viva dashboard / resources from Viva Connections App. It always open in SharePoint app. When they click on Back button in Sharepoint App, they are lost since the Intranet was accessible in Viva Connections Dashboard.

There is no official message from MS for this change. Can any one please support us here.

Steps to reproduce

Pre-requisite: Sharepoint App is installed in users mobile. We have all users in company installed SharePoint App

  1. Navigate to Teams App and open the Custom Viva Connections App
  2. Select any link in viva connections app
  3. Opens the link or news in SharePoint App

Expected behavior

Links and News open in Viva Connections only without opening SharePoint App.
