Tilemap - Draw bug?

Problem description

When I'm using the "Draw rectangle area" tool to draw on the tilemap, if the cursor gets outside the tilemap while the mouse button is pressed, then I release it, the tiles disappear.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open an example file like: "Ceiling Trap Template"
2. Select the tilemap then the "Draw rectangle area" tool.
3. Click and hold the mouse button in the tilemap area then move it outside and release it.

Observed result

Tiles are not drawn.

Expected result

Tiles should be drawn.
