IDO 1: Shock and vulnerable communities #202
Comments
I added "state" as a realizable entity (with a new definition) and shock under state. |
In #201, we say to compose certain processes at the instance level. What do we mean? |
Two more questions:
|
We wait for the CGIAR example. |
We do it at the instance level: individual has objective specification invidual. We use robot and yaml to do it after genering a tsv file. |
Contrary to what stated in #201, IDO 1 does not involve "vulnerable community". IDO 4 and sub-IDO D1.4 involves "vulnerable community". |
As @pbuttigieg mentions in issue #201, we need the class shock to describe IDO 1. For the Oxford English Dictionary, a shock is a state. We do not have the class state in SDGIO.
This is how some ontology (I forget which one) defines state: " The combination of circumstances or attributes belonging at a particular time to a person or thing; a particular manner or way of existing as defined by the presence of certain circumstances or attributes; a condition."
Do we add state to SDGIO? If yes, where?
State as condition may be a realizable entity. However, state as a combination of circumstances does not seems a realizable entity, although it does not fit obviously any other category. Suggestions?
Concerning shock, the OED is less useful. I suggested to put it under state with the following definition: a state of distress or disorientation brought about by sudden subjection to an acute or pervasive problem. Suggestions?
