Just discovered trial conversion tracking counts ANY first purchase as a "trial conversion" if the user ever had a trial of any product. Real example from us:
User tries Product A (May 2023) -> expires
User tries Product B (Feb 2024) -> expires
User buys Product C (Dec 2024) -> marked as "trial conversion"
Proposing to make the docs insanely clear that trial conversion is just any conversion to paid after a trial start even if it's a different product as it's a tad misleading right now.
Also, will continue to push to jus get this metric updated in general (currently working through event data in bigquery to see if I can provide a better alternative example)
