Proposed culture remappings:

  • Move I:R tayuan from the indo_greek and indogreek mappings to the mappings for CK3 sogdian

Proposed new predefined cultures to be added on game start (through culture_mappings.txt):

  • Macedonian in Syria and Mesopotamia -> Syriac
This requires adding a new syro_hellenic culture localized as "Syriac" to configurables/converter_cultures.txt. We need someone to create a definition of this culture.
  • To make the change above make sense, rename the existing CK3 assyrian culture to "Assyrian"

Proposed Macedono/Helleno hybrid creation names:

  • South Arabian - Eudaimonian (prefix loc: "Eudaemono")
  • East Arabian - Thiluan (prefix loc: "Thiluo")
  • West Arabian - Heremitic (prefix loc: "Heremo")
  • Ethiopian - Leukaethiopian (prefix loc: "Leukethiopo")
  • Nubian - Paraethiopian (prefix loc: "Paraethiopo")

Proposed purely Macedonian hybrid creation names:

  • Italian - Pyrrhic (prefix loc: "Pyrrho")
  • Anatolian - Eumenidian (prefix loc: "Eumenido")
  • Persian - Seleucian (prefix loc: "Seleuco")
  • Indian - Sikandrian (prefix loc: "Sikandro")
  • Bactrian - Tichopoetic (prefix loc: "Ticho")

Proposed purely Greek culture (excluding Macedonian) creation names:

  • Sogdian (which I:R tayuan will map to) - Eschatian (prefix loc: "Eschato")

Guidelines on collective nouns loc, credits to @IohannesIohannium:

The guideline of that linking o is to, most of the times, just remove the suffix that turns the word into a demonym and then add o, unless it's a nasal like -ene (Ancient Greek -ηνός), which keeps the -en-. Sometimes, the i of "ian" is kept and the ae of "aeus" (Greek -αῖος) is always kept, but there's no set rule as to how and when.
For the plural forms, the -ic demonyms cannot be used for it. Pyrrhic could become Pyrrhians, Heremitic would yield Heremits. That's because -ic descends from Greek -ικός, which forms demonyms that can be used only as adjectives and not as substantives. The usage of -ic can be explained somewhat, @IhateTrains, as the -ski suffix of Slavic languages: it'd be quite weird to say Francuscy in Polish as a substantive, whereas Francuzi would be expected.
