Progress on Adopt-a-Tree seems to be very slow. There is still an open pull request from over 6 weeks ago. We could speed up progress by getting rid of the review requirement for pull requests or by recruiting more qualified people. Given that there are likely good reasons for the review requirement for pull requests, the latter option sounds much better. The Ruby.MN group would be the best place to recruit more volunteers, because that's where the best Ruby on Rails people congregate.

Recruiting folks from language/framework meetups is definitely a good idea. Much of our immediate work is actually JavaScript, so it would also be good to recruit folks from the JavaScript meetup.
