I had to make some workaround to make it work properly but the final code is not too much good.
What to do:
Back to spinner.
Wait for future releases.
PS/ It's really annoying try to follow the UI/UX recommendation and they don't end up working properly. This is an issue quite commented on stackoverflow, and I used a solution found there.

The implementation is quite weird and ugly. We should look for another option and/or figure out how to make dropdown work properly.
