Describe the bug
Getting above error when running this action

actually all the OctopusDeploy github actions getting same error when using V3 above

V2 and V1 are ok.

@Justin-JHG Can you provide some more detail on your issue?

  • Is the Octopus Server using HTTPS?
  • Which OS is the action executing on?

It looks like you are seeing this issue. The Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions use the same underlying client library.

We are not planning to fix this in GitHub Actions. You would be best to have the Actions host trust the Octopus SSL certificate, or put a properly signed certificate on your Octopus Server. Octopus has integration with Lets Encrypt to handle this for you.

Don't worry @benPearce1 I gave up using this action and used the octopus cli instead as that one runs ok
