Sure, but not right now! Those tests are not very important.

I'm opening this issue to remind us to give the test suite another look later on.

Hard to debug something that happens sporadically and I cannot reproduce locally 😞

I'll change the test logic to something simpler. It is only trying to check if the new directory has a different inode to ensure it is a new directory, but I have another (simpler) idea that might do the same.
