Anyone know if it's possible to handle self messages ?

So I would like to send steam network messages to myself as it would make some aspects of my multiplayer implementation.

But when I actually do it, the first message goes through no problem, but the all of the subsequent ones fail with error "ConnectFailed"

Anyone know if there is a workaround ? seems like it would be possible since the first one works.
