Contribution Guidelines

All of the information above relates to the nodejs/i18n repository only. For localization guides, please see the Getting started guide.

Code of Conduct

The Node.js i18n Working Group adheres to the Node.js Code of Conduct.

For the sake of explicit clarity, we will restate some relevant standards here that help create a positive environment in which to contribute:

  • Use welcoming and inclusive language
  • Be respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accept constructive criticism
  • Focus on what is best for the community
  • Show empathy towards other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

All participants of this group comply with & observe the Developer's Certificate of Origin 1.1

Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this license document, but changing it is not allowed.

By making a contribution to this project, I certify that:

(a) The contribution was created in whole or in part by me and I
    have the right to submit it under the open source license
    indicated in the file; or

(b) The contribution is based upon previous work that, to the best
    of my knowledge, is covered under an appropriate open source
    license and I have the right under that license to submit that
    work with modifications, whether created in whole or in part
    by me, under the same open source license (unless I am
    permitted to submit under a different license), as indicated
