When I was a DirecTV customer one of the features that I enjoyed about the Android app was a screen that showed you all of the shows in alphabetical order. Is it possible to have this feature added to the application? Can we also once the code is ready add the ability to have recording options on these shows. Thanks.

Where specifically in the app are you referring to? Recordings? You want
to be able to see all recordings under one banner? Am I understanding this
correctly?

What recording options would you like to see?

No like it would pull all of the shows out of the guide for all days and list them alphabetically. Say for example I want to watch South Park so I'll scroll down to S, click on S and it will show me all shows that start with S. If I click on South Park then it will show us all of the Channels, Days and Times that Southpark will air on.

What about search instead of a huge list?

unfortunately, this is not possible at this point. The program guide data
is currently stored in json files. They will eventually be moving to the
database. It might be possible to do something like that, but this would
really be a version of searching for the programs, not a true display.

That would be cool with the search as well. I hope to be able to help with this project. Once I'm done with the day job today I'll get the code loaded
