Here is why Nginx errors throws

     location ~ \.php$ {
         try_files $uri =404;
         fastcgi_split_path_info ^(.+\.php)(/.+)$;
         fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000;; /// HERE ( 2 semicolons causing the problem) 
         fastcgi_index index.php;
         fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name;
         include fastcgi_params;
     }

nginx: [emerg] unexpected ";" in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/dev.kanboard.com.conf:22
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed
nginx: [emerg] unexpected ";" in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/dev.kanboard.com.conf:22
✖ Nginx couldn't be reloaded
