Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as contributors and maintainers pledge to make participation in MichaelAngel.io a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

Positive Contributions

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and ensure all voices are heard and valued.
  • Constructive Feedback: Provide helpful and considerate feedback to others.
  • Integrity: Uphold ethical standards in all aspects of the project.

Unacceptable Behavior

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment: Offensive comments, derogatory remarks, or any form of verbal or written abuse.
  • Discrimination: Any behavior that discriminates against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
  • Bullying: Intimidating, insulting, or demeaning language or actions.
  • Disruptive Behavior: Actions that disrupt the collaborative and creative process.
  • Invasion of Privacy: Sharing personal information without consent.

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior by participants includes:

  • Using sexualized language or imagery.
  • Personal insults, demeaning remarks, or unnecessary profanity.
  • Trolling or insulting/derogatory comments aimed at other participants.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others' private information, such as physical or electronic addresses, without explicit permission.
  • Sustained disruption of discussions or activities.

Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing the standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Enforcement Guidelines

  • Reporting: If you witness or experience unacceptable behavior, please report it immediately to the project maintainers.
  • Assessment: Maintainers will assess the report and determine appropriate action.
  • Response: Actions may include issuing warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from the project based on the severity of the misconduct.
  • Confidentiality: All reports will be handled confidentially to the extent possible.

Reporting Guidelines

To report unacceptable behavior:

  • Via GitHub Issues: Open a private issue in the repository and tag the maintainers.
  • Directly on GitHub: Contact maintainers through their GitHub profiles.
  • Email: Contact us directly at our Email.

Please include the following information in your report:

  • A description of the incident.
  • Names or usernames of those involved.
  • Date, time, and location of the incident.
  • Any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots, logs).

Protection Against Retaliation

Retaliation against anyone who reports unacceptable behavior or assists in the investigation is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community. Examples of representing a project or community include using an official project e-mail address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event.
