could it be possible to add a number selector next to hammer/lightning, in order to parse suggestions through words of 2/3/4/.../x letters ?

I see, so if there are no words of the actual size, you can browse for smaller ones?
It is possible, I'll look into it.

yeah exactly, and I think it'll be helpfull for "hammer" mode !
