all search boxes should update as you type

If I modify my search string, I shouldn't need to click "Search" to update the search results. They should update automatically as I type in the search box. Similarly, I shouldn't need to click "Search" to make the "Show public terms" checkbox affect the search results. The search results should update automatically when the checkbox is toggled.
