progress indicator when importing an application mapping

When I import an application mapping with a lot of terms, it can take a while before the list of application terms is updated. In the meantime, it's not clear whether my terms are actually being imported, or if the import failed silently. There should be some kind of progress indicator, or hourglass icon, or at least a message saying something like "import is underway. please wait...".
