To be able to continue developing Jetpaca into a cool open source game, we need to know what is the current cultural context, influences, history or myths behind Jetpaca's universe.

Those have an impact on the art direction as well as the storyline, so if there were some conscious or unconscious influences back then, we need to know :) (especially as there's an obvious South American setting - alpacas wearing ponchos - and Kobuge is mostly European so far).

@reduz @punto- That one is for you :)

To all: This issue is not meant to discuss in details the actual storyline of the game, but really the contextual elements that should influence the said storyline. For the latter we could start another issue (but better wait for the context to be explained/settled upon first).

As far as I remember there was no south american influence, at first we
wanted a game with a slow moving character, because it was a mobile game
where control was limited, so it was supposed to be a panda bear.
Eventually we came up with the idea of the jetpack. The decision to switch
to an alpaca was actually Japanese influence, alpacas are more popular
there :p
We might have some documents about this tho, I'm trying to track them down
