[2] write tests for footprint

Before we start implementing the footprint functions for Eddy covariance data, we should get some data from somewhere else and design a unittest to test our function.

@AlexDo1 : after #8 is closed, you can either propose a test on a new branch for this issue, or you assign me to the issue and I will do the test.
