I'm running xmonad window manager on Arch linux and upon running the installer, it only showed up a blank white window without any content. It took a while but I found this issue which finally suggested the correct way to fix this in the last comment. The way to do that was to use wmname utility which basically changes the name of the window manager. I'd assume using a less common window manager resulted in this kind of behavior since it simply wasn't supported.
Describe the solution you'd like
It wasn't trivial to find the solution to this between tons of issues mentioning this only one of these actually being helpful,
specifically: 3312, 3243, 3220, 2748, 2678, and the original, which did have the solution 2238. These issues should really all be closed with a comment pointing to 2238, but not just that, it should be added to the commonly asked questions since it's clearly an issue and many people are reporting it, documenting it possible to solve this a lot more quickly for everyone.
Describe alternatives you've considered
If possible, rather than documenting this behavior and the way to fix it, a much better solution would obviously be to fix this, I don't know what's causing this as I'm not a java developer and I have completely no experience there so I don't know what's causing this and how hard it could be to actually fix it, but it's probably just a matter of adding a default window manager name if the others aren't matched or something like that.
Additional context
All of the content was provided in the other linked issues, they're caused by the same problem.
