The html paste handler escapes all things to be valid LaTeX, but it also does that when the clipboard content is already valid LaTeX, e.g. when copying from TeXiFy documentation. I don't see a way to detect LaTeX so I think we shouldn't do this escaping by default.

Also, pasting content from Libre Office Calc / Excel is broken on Windows (working fine with gnumeric on Linux), it will paste as image instead

Maybe the new paste handler should be turned off by default for now

Hello, same problem (paste tables as image rather than latex-table-code) occurred in the latest texify. Could you please talk about how to turn off the new paste handler? Thanks a lot
