To run both MariaDB and Strapi locally in a docker container, do the following:
- Install & configure docker
- Set up .env file by copying .env.example to .env
values can be retrieved from the project's admin - run
docker compose build books-n-films-backend
if required - run
docker-compose up
to start the database and the Strapi backend application
Strapi comes with a full featured Command Line Interface (CLI) which lets you scaffold and manage your project in seconds.
Start your Strapi application with autoReload enabled. Learn more
npm run dev
Start your Strapi application with autoReload disabled. Learn more
npm run start
Build your admin panel. Learn more
npm run build
Using Prettier and ESLint to enforce code style. Available scripts:
lint
applies all linters to check the codelint:fix
applies all linters to fix the codeprettier
applies a prettier check on the codeprettier:fix
applies a prettier fix on the codeeslint
applies an eslint check on the codeeslint:fix
applies an eslint fix on the code
