Let me ask about some features of IZ-firewall that are very actual..

(1) Could it be possible to port into IZ-firewall all possible NG features(options) ?
..,i always feel a lack of it when using IZ-firewall with some its service.

(2) Possibility workage of IZ-firewall when all services are OFF ?
Yes, i know the problem that it take magor refactoring of all code((. But this feature is much usefull and powerful!!!
Could you please just put it in "ToDo" list? ..,we will wait for it very very much!

Great thanks in advance!

I have plans to improve the firewall. However, I don't plan to just copy all the features from NG. InviZible has its own way. So it's better to describe the features you really need.

This is also planned. And you are right, it is quite difficult to implement.

@Gedsh I use the Firewall quite extensively and want to thank you for adding it.

Sorry for adding to the list, but can I request the following, if possible?

  • option to auto-start firewall when InviZible app is started

Currently it takes several clicks. A quick way to start the firewall would be appreciated.

  • sort by blocked / unblocked for lan / wifi / cell / roaming

There is currently sort for name and uuid, but for example, it is difficult to see what is allowed on cell or what is blocked on wifi.

  • filter by lan / wifi / cell / roaming

An alternative to see what is allowed or blocked with each category

  • switch between different profiles or saved settings

There are times that I want different apps blocked or allowed. Having the ability to save/load firewall settings, or easily switch between these "profiles" would be a great time saver.

I have plans to improve the firewall.

Apologies if you already have these in mind, but I could find no list or roadmap.

Out of curiosity, what is the "NG" that was mentioned?

You are very welcome.

The firewall starts along with Tor or DNSCrypt after you press the Start button, if it is enabled. The same with stopping it.

As for the various sorting methods and profiles, I have no plans to implement them at this time.

By improving the firewall, I meant implementing features like blocking or allowing IP addresses individually for each app and allowing internet connections only when the screen is on.

what is the "NG" that was mentioned?

NetGuard firewall.

NetGuard firewall.

All the features the OP requested would be greatly welcomed. With that said, the featues you've mentioned here too would be greatly welcomed.

Could options for blocking domains along with the option of blocking IPs per app be implemented? This would be a great feature.

Another NetGuard feature that would greatly improve the app is the way logs are presented. Picture included for reference as it does a better job at explaining.
Also the ability to pause the logs live update/refresh which stops the refresh/update jump.

Another feature would be having firewall changes auto-save. Adding some type of icon next to the Firewall On/Off switch to save firewall changes. As per my experience the current way to save firewall changes is by backing out of the firewall at which point you get prompted to save changes. I fairly make good use of the firewall but mostly makes the changes and just swipe back to what I need to do. It has taking me some time to get in the habit of making firewall changes, then back out of the firewall to get prompted to save said changes and then get back to what I need to do.

Thanks

That would be a great addition. Do you have some estimate for this?

One more thing, though I don't know if it would be possible to implement, would be to have a switch to allow or block internet connection for background tasks and services.
