Making basic customization

Is it possible to make this app launcher like the old Lawnchair launcher, like you can access the hidden apps from app drawer search and some basic customizations. The main reason for using the app was the ability to hide apps, plus the app not requiring internet permission, while Lawnchair uses tons of permissions. Thanks!
