Starting in PHP 8.2, there will be native support for a #[SensitiveParameter] attribute. This has a high degree of overlap with the semantic goals of Secrets. Functionally this is a wonderful thing for the PHP ecosystem as a whole - however, it will be beneficial to describe where this library is and is not appropriate in the context of a well-structured PHP>=8.2 codebase.
