The button is no longer there, also the settings are sometimes broken.

I'm unable to reproduce this. Are you sure you have the latest version of the plugin? (v1.2.6)

In the settings screenshot I see that you have the first switch enabled, that shows the button only in threads, so the button does not appear in the announcements channel in this case.

Then there would only be the problem that the settings are not displayed correctly.
