Right now the only representation of times are the actually times e.g. 4:30, 5:15, 7:45.

My sister wasn't able to understand clock jargon e.g. twenty past 5, quarter past 7, quarter of 8, half past 2, etc. because this is not really taught in classes.

Depending on family/friend dialect, children may or may not learn this and not understand when other people give them a time in this jargon.

Implementing this as an option to help children learn another way to read and understad time will be very beneficial for them in the long run.
